Advent is celebrated over the 4 Sundays leading up to Christmas, as a way of preparing our hearts for Christmas. Besides lighting the advent candles each week with accompanying readings, we will explore the meaning of the themes both collectively in a group activity and with some discussion questions. There are also activities geared at exploring the weekly theme in ourselves, with those closest and with the world.
Two (suggested) age groups are available: 11 and Under and 12 and Over. Each box is packed for a group of 4,
Each Advent box includes:
- 4 Weeks of Themes: Hope, Love, Joy and Peace
- Instructions - both written and through video
- Group activities
- Individual activities
- Candles, markers, pencil crayons
- Weekly themed playlists
* Adult supervision required for using the candles and for the group activities
